Hello everyone,
I just want to thank whoever responded to my aster question 1-2 weeks ago
(aster problem/orange spots = rust). I cut down the two most afflicted,
and sprayed the rest with Fungizone. Now they are free of the dreaded
orange spots, in full bloom for the first time, and I think I must have
more!
Also, quite surprisingly, my digitalis grandiflora rebloomed a few weeks
ago, and it's a welcome site. I had placed them near an Aster Frikartii
(blue/lavender with yellow centers), Prunella (pink), Echinacea purpurea
magnus, and Centaurea montana, and as they are all in bloom right now
it's a more-than-welcome combination for this time of year. I've never
had this happen before, and I suppose I have to thank El Nino.
Does anyone else have some surprising Fall combinations in their gardens
this year that they would like to share?
