I believe that is one I have that is reputed to be
hardier than most. I have a 6b garden and usually
lose them. This one did live over last year, but we
had a very easy winter. This year, the worst one in
40-50 years is predicted, so I'll let everyone know
how it comes through next spring!

Has anyone grown Penstemon 'Midnight Blue'? I
bought it listed as a
cultivar of P. strictus, but I am now doubting that this
is accurate.
Any info on its background would be appreciated.
