When I first dug it up it was like a rhisome (sp) it has a pretty thick
root. We have the wild carrots here also. It ended up with a pretty
thick trunk and branches coming off of it. It also has a smell as a
sunflower seed head or a coreopsis has. It is not all piney smelling,
but it does have a smell. I looked in different weed areas and haven't
found it yet. There is so much wild stuff around here anyway, since this
was a fallow field until builders put houses on it last year.
