Janice:
My eupatorium are also in full sun and are really bushy. The 3 plants
make a mass about 3' high and 4'wide - much bigger than I had expected -
and I just planted them last fall.
Have you ever pruned them in early season to control height and was it
successful?
The box elder bugs (now that I know what they're called) are still all
over the plants even though I cut them back and they've even found the 3
small plants on the driveway from Bluestone that haven't been planted
yet (I ordered them long ago when the existing plants were only 1' tall
and as yet bug-free. If I only knew then...)
