Returning home from vacation to find a jungle instead of a garden, I
began cleaning out some of the growth. Suddenly a wonderful lilac
coloured flowering plant appeared from behind some campanulas, with
(thank heavens!) a label saying 'succisa pratense'. Now, I don't
remember where/when I bought this & can find no reference to it in any
of my books. Searching Internet indicates that it is a 'native plant',
at least here in Europe, but I have never seen it in the wild.
Question is: does anyone have experience with this plant? It is a
perennial, and I would like MORE of them, but it is much to small to
divide. What to do? Seeds? Cuttings?
