Re: cardinal/cypress vine

I, too, planted the fine ferny leaved cypress vine last year - at the base of a
columnar apple tree in the annual flower garden. Did well that first year, and this
year?

Right, it seeded everywhere. Not only covering the same poor apple, but crawling
around and up on 4 o'clocks, snapdragons and on the morning glories, and it found a
grape vine I'm training up the south side of the deck. Wow!

It's easy to recognize when it germinates, however, and next spring I will be
pulling most of them out. I still like it!
