I've used both in the garden.  I like pineapple sage for the tubular red
flowers and pineapple mint for the pretty foliage and for use in iced tea.
The sage is not hardy in my area, and the mint was always kept in a clay
pot, so I don't know about that.  After my battles with the Kentucky Mint,
I'm not too keen on introducing any other mint in my borders!
