I love hydrangeas and have a quick question. I'm aware that aluminum sulfate
needs to be added to soil prior to blooming for blue blooms, however I just
discovered this, and wonder when to do that and how often. On line info said
4-6 weeks prior to bloom, which here in battle creek, MI (zone 5) would be
about middle of June. Also, is it just a one time app? I'm going to try to
root them as you suggested.
This year I planted 2 kalaidescope (sp?) and of course it didn't bloom, just
grew. Anything you know about fertilizer for this type?
Thanks.
Nita
