I have a problem with people making off of a terrible tragedy by naming
a columbine as a memorial. If such a plant is being sold what is done
with a percentage of the profits.
I can understand Goldsmith's Seeds promotion of various impatiens in
pastel colors for breast cancer research . A percentage of the money
earned by the promotion is ear marked for breast cancer research.
I hope that in the future that everytime we have a tragedy in this
country someone decides not to commercialize it and play on the emotions
of people. This just trivalizes the event.
It would be better if organizations or businesses just donate a site as
a memorial for the victims of the tragedy, rather than sell some plant.
