Re: buying young perennials in vast quantities

What I recommend is apply for a wholesale business license from your state and purchase your plants from Springbrook gardens, Inc or Wayside or Walters perennials. You could by from Bluestone at a wholesale rate, but the shipping kills you. This is what I did and I save a tons of money. When you buy from Springbrook or Walters, you will get two year bare root growth on most of the products they sell. Many of the PNW nurseries buy from these big names wholesalers. If you can BS your way in opening a new account with them and pay cash(credit card) they will send you plants. They mostly sell in quantities of 25 or more..or groups of 25. Be aware of your local state laws on shipping certain plants into your state.

Example Astible: 25+ $1.30 each Heavy Field division.
