I went to the post office to get this stamp and they did not have it (yet)
in (Central Illinois).
HOWEVER, sometime this year, a new set of regular 33 cent stamps will be
coming ouyt featuring the PRAIRIE ecosystem. Similar series have come out
in the last couple of years with the North West Pacific rain forests and
the Sonoran Desert. These are the self stick sheet of stamps that depict
the prairie and the wildlife/plants are peel off stamps.
I think I'll buy some for framing!

The USPS has issued a 70 cent international postage stamp with Nine Mile
Prairie featured on the stamp. Nine mile prairie is located nine miles from
the city of Lincoln Nebraska. It is a 230 acre virgin tallgrass prairie and
one of the site for John E Weavers prairie ecology research. The stamp
called nine mile prairie is available at your local post office.
Note there are serval prairie in the U.S.A. call nine mile prairie.
