Hi, Chris and everybody else. I'm the "other Chris" on this list (have we
more?). I'm a grad student at UIUC in natural resources, and a TA for
Restoration Ecology, a relatively new course on our campus. I think the
replys so far have been responsive to the questions asked...especially the
recent discussion of fire as a management tool. But, I think we could have
an entire web page dedicated to this particular topic.
If I fail to participate, it's not due to lack of interest, rather a lack of
time. And the presence of others who have shared their expertise and
opinionsis comforting.
So, how many of us attended today's symposium at the Field Museum in Chicago
focusing on invasive species? What did you think about it, if you went...
