Two lists or not ...

Hi,

I'm Tina Lorentzen from Maryland, Natural Resources Manager for the Naval Academy in Annapolis. I volunteered to get a listserv going for our new coalition. I want to participate in the coalition, but cannot be chairperson. The North American Prairie Coalition now exists only as a group of interested people subscribed to the prairie@mallorn.com listserv.

Most people who wrote me suggested we use the mallorn site instead of prairies@egroups.com since the former site was already set up. I think this is the best solution, esp. since the mallorn site does not have heavy email traffic (about 2-3 message per day for me so far).

Make sure you write a short descriptive Subject line so that those not interested in the topic can just hit the delete key.

Someone wrote to me asking if he could read the archived messages in the prairies@egroups.com web page w/o being subscribed. I am looking into this today.
