Re: this is so good I had to pass it on

Sorry  if I offended you,  I work for the Soil & Water Conservation
District. I believe in restoration and conservation.I have been receiving
all of the posts for several years now and have never said anything, just
listened.
 I also work with most of the agencies that were in that post.
 Right now in our local area we have the Grand Kankakee Marsh dispute, the
Nature Conservancy, doing the Kankakee Sands restoration, Two large Fish and
Wildlife properties, a newly acquired Mega farm; 10,000 cattle, and a local
government that is suing Fish & Wildlife for buying approximately 100 acres,
under their support for Farm Land Preservation.
  Monthly rural townships have been attending planning commission hearings
as well as zoning appeal hearings to stop certain  Mega  business and others
yahoos from destroying the quality of life. To protect the prairies and
wetlands.  The story just gets better and is an never ending saga of change
taking place, without ordinance in place.

It has been a trying week, what can I say
