A few weeks ago I learned (by experience) that wild parsnip can cause
one to get some very severe sunburns. Now most of the offending
plants are turning brown and presumably dying. A colleague and I were
wondering if these "dead" plants still have the ability to cause severe
burns. Also, I'd be interested in knowing any of the plant's natural
history.
