I am wondering if anybody knows where the name
plantain comes from in Pale Indian Plantain. If someone knows if it has
any culinary or medicinal properties, or if it was used by Native Americans in
any way. I would appreciate all information. I am growing it in my garden,
and I would like to find out as much as possible about this species. The
scientific name is Arnoglossum atriplicifolia aka Cacalia atriplicifolia.
Yours sincerely,
