I do collect my own forbs now, and have spent many
fall days broadcasting and scratching seeds into the
ground.  I'd say I have very poor germination rates and
poor survival.   Our site is on the dry side of the
prairie spectrum. I hoping to start my own sets this year,
 having saved a large supply of seeds from last fall's collection.
I/ve got them sitting in a snow bank right now.  Hopefully
theyll be ready to go in a few more weeks.
