Hal, 
I'll restate that. 
It has been my experience that you can seed grasses (little blue stem,
big blue stem, Indiangrass and switchgrass) into a forb stand but you
cannot seed forbs into a little blue stem, big blue stem, Indiangrass,
and switchgrass stand.
