I'm envious. Someday I hope to have enough property to really be able
to go at it. Why the interest in bees?

Do you trade seeds for seeds, or do you barter other goods? I've been
gathering seeds from various locations, and hopefully this spring I'll
successfully germinate my first plants from seed. The plant I'm most
interested in propagating right now is Eupatorium maculatum (Spotted
Joe-pye weed).
I found a great book the other day that I'm using as my key reference
guide now. It has in-depth descriptions of how to propagate over 100
different genera of wild flowers...
Phillips, Harry R. "Growing and Propagating Wild Flowers." Chapel
Hill: University of North Carolina, 1985. ISBN 0-8078-4131-5.
The cost was somewhere around $16, and I'm pretty impressed.

Works for me... Welcome aboard!
