Here in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, those costs are extremely high! We
just seeded 1/3 of an acre for 99.00 (not including cost of seeding, since we
used kids to hand broadcast). As for the cost of burning - we have companies
in the State that charge a $100.00 - 200.00 base fee, plus 6.00/acre and
mileage. Granted many of the burns are conducted in areas that are not within
the metropolitan.
