"WHERE THE SKY BEGAN" - Film for the Discovery Channel

Hello.  I am new to the prairie group, but I would like to announce the following project:

DENVER CENTER MEDIA COMMISSIONED BY THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL TO PRODUCE A DOCUMENTARY FILM ON THE TALLGRASS PRAIRIE.

Denver Center Media has begun production on Where the Sky Began: Land of the Tallgrass Prairie, a documentary film about America's tallgrass prairie. The film is a joint effort between DCM producer Beth Harrison and independent filmmaker, Amie Knox.  It marks the first commissioned production Denver Center Media has undertaken for the Discovery Channel, best known for its science and nature programming.  The ten-month project will be filmed mostly on location in Kansas, Iowa, Missouri and Oklahoma.  The Discovery Channel reaches 70 million households worldwide.

We are looking for people who are knowledgable about the subject and can articulate the material to a general television audience. (Someone like a John Madson)  In addition, we are seeking interesting stories regarding current restoration projects and grass root efforts to restore the prairie to its natural state.
