"Living Prairie" web site


If anyone's interested, I came across a web site about the "Living Prairie
Museum", a 30-acre tall grass prairie outside of Winnipeg, Canada.  The
site includes some general tips about growing prairie plants, and offers
lots of seeds for sale.  (Orders from outside of Canada have to be paid by
a money order in Canadian funds, however.)

There are some pretty good photographs if you click on "available plant
species and seed mixtures", and there is a long list of other
Canadian suppliers of native species.  The writers also advise you to use
native species with "understanding and taste".
