Re:Urbana Burn


We burned yesterday too! It went so easily it was scary. The ground was
saturated and the flame front just crept along  until it hit the indian
grass. New sprouts didn't even get singed and it rained this morning. 
Bob, the Meadowbrook page is great. We drove right past the park last
weekend while visiting our daughter in Urbana. We didn't know what lay just
beyond the playground. We also tried to reach Steve Buck but we failed at
that too. Next time we head up that way we will make some arrangements in
advance.
