	There were three treatments:
1) prairie dog colonies

2) non-colonized sites chosen because we visually determined they were
dominated by buffalograss and/or blue grama

3) non-colonized sites randomly chosen from a pool of sites that had the
same soil types and slopes as the prairie dog colonies (determined from
soil maps) but we did not have any knowledge of what type of vegetation
was actually growing at these sites.  Some of these sites ended up being
very similar to treatment #2 above, but most of them were characterized by
much higher frequencies of sideoats grama.
