I'm in Zone 8, Dallas.
Can you suggest any  1. native,  2. perennial,  3, forb   that sets seeds
here before April 30 that is NOT a bulb?  Adjust flowering date for your
zone.

Texas Star,  Lindheimera texana,     and possibly  Prairie Verbena, V.
bipinnatifida,   qualify.  I believe Viola missouriensis does not count;  It
sets its cleistogamous seeds later?  Any others?       Geoff
