This weekend we did a prescribed burn.  The grass was still a bit
moist from rain on Thursday, and the result was a very patchy burn. In the
places where the Big Bluestem got scorched but not completely burned, the
seeds popped just like popcorn.  Cutest thing.  Anybody ever see that
before?
