It was also a bit early in the day for a burn chris-e-baybee. The Red
Bison burn that afternoon was relatively thorough, considering the weak
wind. After burning the first section, we cut a break, and tried to
burn some more, but it was 3:30 by the time we got it started, and the
humidity had gone up just a bit too much, as well as the wind dying even
more. Early afternoon burns are the way to go. Humidity is key on
these somewhat iffy days.
I'm starting to think maybe busey is ready to burn. Red Bison burned
the Savoy Prairie yesterday. Part of the area has Chinese elm, chock
cherry and a big fat red oak. The oak leaves burned rather readily, but
I suppose that area is more open and dry then busey is.

Do you think Gore is entitled to votes? Is Bush entitled to votes?
We all have to earn our votes. If Gore cannot beat the bumbling
governor from Texas with that horrific record, what good is he? Good
heavens. This should be a slam dunk.
