Re: dwarf aster


It doesn't sound from the description of the plant that Schneegitter 
is all that diffferent from ocasional dwarf specimens of its kind 
in the wild. Just a guess, but from the name, it wouldn't surprise me 
if it was a plant that came up from seed in the garden of a German 
horticulturist. Those folks have done amazing things with some of our 
American natives!
