Re: Seed Collecting

Hello to all on the Prairie list.

If anyone has experience and information on germinating
Turk's Cap Lilly (Lilium michiganense) it would be greatly
appreciated if you would forward this to me. I have tried
soaking in vermiculite at approximately 75-80 degrees for
55-60 days, then cold for 30-45 days with no success.

This is my third season attempting to germinate and grow
Turk's Cap. The very first batch, which I gave up on and
threw into the planter bed on the north side of our house,
has now grown to 4-6 inches, with multiple leaf sets.

I'm sure that these have grown quite by accident and
so.........I look forward to any info provided.
