HERE HERE Mr. Armstrong ... I applaud your attitude and the courage
to say it...Yes I believe everyone can use the money so to speak.... But
like you I have never been in this for the cash....If I have been...I've
been so underpaid the last 6 of 7 years that I should look at taking up
a different "hobby " !!!! The work you put into these things is
tremendous and the chances of hitting the big one are so
slim..(expecially in Iowa....) so why get all worked up over the
money.....I'd just love to see all those people coming up to me and
wanting to buy seeds....which of course I would never sell.....But more
then willingly give to them.....the smiles you get is more then enough
compensation.... I commend the Checkons for there actions over the last
year...True world champions that have brought the sport to a new
level....You will never know how big of smile you put on my "burnt" face
when I recieved the bubble pack....Thanks Larry and Gerry!!!!
If I were ever to pop a giant....I trust I owe the Norlins, Nancy
and Greg, and the whole Anamosa community.....more then my second
biggest fruit.....My big one will be showed in Iowa....If I ever get
one!!! LOL!!!!
