Weighoff rules
What are the rules about the same grower entering different pumpkins at the
different weighoffs which are held on September 30th and October 7th? If
there is someone who knows the rules could answer the following questions, it
would be appreciated. I am sure there are others who have the same type of
questions.
1. Would entering different pumpkins at these two contests cause a
disqualification from any of the organizations involved?
2. Would entering the same pumpkin result in a disqualification?
3. Does anyone have a list of sites, rules and prize monies that could be
posted on this site?
It is unfortunate that there has been conflicts among some of the giant
pumpkin organizations. I think the competition that is being created will
ultimately help in our quest to grow really giant pumpkins. There are a lot
of really knowledgeable and dedicated individuals in all of the
organizations. Some of the new growers that I've talked with really don't
care about the past history or conflicts between the organizations, but
rather the interest is in growing the really big one.
