A solution to the weight problem on the leaves is to buy 9 gauge wire....cut
it into big hoops that can go over the main vine area....so you have a pretty
high tunnel for the main vine....I do this for about 16ft on each plant's
main vine to protect it from the vine borer moths. I let the secondary vines
come out the bottom and are unprotected except they do get sprayed.
