Just what does this problem of the GPC have to do with WPC Members? Back
when the WPC added the Anamosa Site in 1989 (establishing the weigh-off for
the region) it infringed somewhat on the Elk Grove Village, IL site. No one
in Iowa was making a stink then! But, I took plenty of heat because of it!
Please leave the WPC out of this. Also when the Topsfield site was
established by the WPC in 1984 special considerations given there were no
doubt the start of the GPC's problems. As you may know Topsfield's last year
with the WPC was also 1989 when several rules of the WPC Agreement were
broken at the All New England event. Not a real good foundation for any
organization. We need not get into this but please be advised that anyone is
welcome to the Clarence New York WPC Weigh-Off on September 30, with a 1st
place pumpkin prize of $25,000.00 USD.
