Re: Insect damage already?

Thanks to everyone who piped up with the flea beetle identification. The
verdict was unanimous, and from what I've heard now, I think the
descriptions fit. Also, a light dusting of Sevin this morning has them all
gone this afternoon.

Thanks for the help!

Subject: Insect damage already?

Today I noticed some tiny pock marks on the seed leaves of my two AG
seedlings. They've been out of the ground (direct seeded) about a week, and
they both have one non-seed leaf out. In addition to the tiny pock marks,
there are about a half dozen tiny insects--they look like beetles, but
they're only the size of poppy seeds on each plant.

This may be no big deal, but if you think you can identify the damage or the
insect, please take a look at the photo on my website and let me know what
you think:

Thanks!
