Hi Alun...welcome to the net. I also inquired about older seed germination
techniques and it was suggested that I use a fish tank bubbler to increase
the oxygen content in the soaking water.I am also growing a couple older
seeds from Mike(Thanks Mike!) A couple 1991's from Mike, and a 722Holland 92
from OVGPA.
Unfortunately I don't have a success story.... yet...... and to be quite
honest ,its looking a little iffy at this point. 5 days...no action @83*F in
a incubation chamber.
Although its not time to panic,it might be time to make alternate plans. I
have no backup to the 722Holland92 at this point.My wife requested that I
grow something orange this year and I'm trying real hard,but who knows...I
might HAVE to grow a SQUASH ! (I tried honey...I really did !)....G
