Re: Luvrboyntown germination question

Use a fingernail file around the edge of the seed to allow water to absorb more readily.  Then soak the seeds for 24 hours in water.  Plant the seeds indoors, each in their own 4" jiffy pot, with points down, in jiffy mix.  Provide bottom heat and keep the air temperature between 75 and 80.  Many seeds should sprout about 3 to 4 days after putting them in the pots.

My seeds last year did not all sprout at the same time -- some took up to ten days.  The sprouting time seemed to be the same for all seeds from the same parent, and most sprouted right away.  But some did not come along until I was almost ready to give up on them.

hello everyone!
i was wondering if  their are any really quick ways to get the AG pumpkin
seeds to germinate and break soil faster then the average week-week and a 1/2
it usually takes? i have tried soaking them in water solutions 24 hours prior
to planting, and also tried to split the bottom portion of the seed a little
to get moisture inside faster, but it seems that they still take about seven
days to germinate. I would also like to know how much water to give them in
the peat pots, or direct sowing. what is ample.
Just one other thing. I have herd talk of some videos people have maid,
documenting their growing season. could someone tell me were, and what it
takes to acquire one.

Thanks for any help!
