That's why I suggested organizing ahead of time. If people got a
questionnaire or diary ahead of time with room for measurements, and space
for ?weekly observations about plant growth habit or whatever, it would be
easier. Filling out a prepared checklist goes pretty fast - even if people
take 15 minutes on a weekend and note obsevations over the previous week.
That's doable. Recreating the records at the end of the season is not.
Actually, space for daily temps, observations and measurements would be
great. If some people can only do parts of it, that would be okay, too -
but better to ask for EVERYTHING up front, and just get part of the info
rather than waiting till the season is over and not getting anything.
