771 experiment

There is a method to Rocky's madness, and it is very exciting to watch more and more growers become interested in these topics.  I believe Len would say the same thing, but unfortunately he has traveled to his farm for the summer, where he does not have access to a computer. 
 
Rocky has a great breeding plan, and I urge the rest of you to do the same.  That way, we can invoke much more excitment when planting another grower's seeds.  Why let the heavy hitters prove the potential of the seed, when we could do it ourselves?
 
As for the seed experiment, there is no reason not to do it this year with  Rocky's 771.  There are a ton of people out there with this seed.  We could use what information we get this year as a trial run for next year.  So lets make this semi-official and start right now!  If you intend to grow the 771 this year,  reply to this messge with your name and location.  We can set up specifics later, but for now lets work on the level of interest here.
