Ned, Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this. I
heavily added mushroom soil last year, the ph this spring was 5.8 where it was,
now the new part of the patch was 5.8.No mushroom soil was there, I have to add
lime but thats normal for my soil. I would say add it to your patch, I can't see
any reason not to. The nutrient level I think is going to vary, depending on how
composted it is, It is a great soil conditioner, I love the stuff , if you want
