I've not heard of Nitroform . I would try a local farm supply store or co-op
if there's on in your area. Sulphur will lower your soil pH or cause it to
be more acidic (sour). Ammonium will act as N or Nitrogen i.e. the first no.
in 21-0-0. Should be O.K. as long as your soil isn't already too acidic. I
probably would use it if my soil pH was closer to 7.0 or higher. If lower
than 7 would look for Nitroform. Other forms of N can be used such as
calcium nitrate sometimes sold as 33-0-0, just make sure to follow
recommendations.
