Hello everyone

I was wondering what the current school of thought is on the optimum size in
square footage that an AG plant should be allowed to grow. In the last year
or two I have read several posts that several large pumpkins have been grown
on some relatively small plants. Are these flukes. I wonder what the average
size of the plants that grew pumpkins over 1000 pounds last year were. Any
thoughts on this?
