RE: Seed lineup

Chris,

I grew the 909 two years ago and got a bunch of peanut shaped fruit. Could
have been very entertaining had any of them reached maturity, but the
largest one only got to about 100-150 pounds before going down to rot (crack
underneath). I'm not accusing this of being a bad seed, just sharing my
experience.

Hi, Paul & All,

Well, my 2 plant patch doesn't give me as much room to diversify as yours.

I am going for the 801.5 Stelts for sure in ONE spot.

Am pondering to cross with ONE of the following:

974 Mettler	(same cross as 705 Stelts)
940 Mombert (could do same cross as 1262 Emmons)
810 Handy	(underweight with overweight)
825 Shymanski (a sort-of back-cross)
909.5 Lloyd (similar to the 801 Stelts x 876.5 Lloyd = 846 Calai. Now IF I
had an 876.5 Lloyd then I would really be tempted to recreate that 846 Calai
cross.)
946 Geerts

Given my limited space, I am REALLY open to any words of wisdom on these
potential crosses! Or to put it another way, which of these crosses would
you MOST want to have some of the seeds from?

My secrets all divulged now, and the questions of my soul laid bare,

Chris
