RE: Seed linup
My seed choices for this year...tentatively anyway:
At home, I will be growing one early squash...895.5 Hester (900.5 Lyons X
Sib) which grew my 464.5 last year, almost 100 lb heavy!
About two - three weeks later, I will be growing two more squash...895.5
Hester and 616 Corkum. (Of course, at the Niagara seminar I got seeds from
Len Stellpflug for his 711, which may displace the second Hester 895.)
I also have been offered an alternate patch, where I will be growing the
400.1 Reynolds ((McIntyre 835 X Stelts 801.5) for Orange and one white
pumpkin, probably the 598 Sherwood. I then have to pick from about 80
different seeds for some potential additional plants at this alternate
patch. I think I might try Paul Huffer's 353 (Hungarian Grey). If I ever
get my bubble packs out, I might even try for a red one in that patch as
well...it would be a very colorful patch to say the least.
