Hello list
I am sorry Dan but I have just awful news. Today when I went out to the patches before work I was utterly shocked to fine that gophers had eaten all three of my plants! I don’t know what happened I have never had a gopher problem in the back of my yard in the 6 years I have lived here. Then have shown up in the front yard a few times in the past but never in the garden! I wonder if it was because I enjoyed the book I read this winter Pumpkins Are Orange I really liked that book. Never the less I now have to try to start some more of the Pugh 874 seeds and figure out what else to try. I also have ton’s of work to do in the patch’s I am bringing home the gopher probe tomorrow and I guess I will have to put up a wire fence a foot deep into the soil around my starts. I almost felt like giving up this morning but I think I will try to KILL the @#*&@ gophers and see what I can do
Again to Dan Carlson and Stan Pugh I am so sorry to waste such good seeds
