Copper deficiency in pumpkins?

Hi, Group,

Here is a stumper that may yield something of interest...I know that in
general copper deficiency can lead to chlorosis (leaf yellowing). However,
I have not yet been able to find any SPECIFIC information regarding the
results of copper deficiency in cucurbits. Anybody have anything
authoritative on this?

The really interesting tidbit here is that pumpkin SEEDS are apparently one
of the most significant sources for dietary copper!

So the next question I have is...anybody know the copper levels in the soil
of any of these pumpkins in the past few years that produced no seeds?

Regards,
Chris
