I respectfully submit this little amazing accomplishment as a
response....The world record squash in 1988 was held by Len Stellpflug at
653lbs (pkn world record only 18lbs higher @ 671 lbs). The 1988 squash world
record was broken the next year with a 743 by Len Stellpflug (pkn world
record raised also(755) but only 12lbs higher than squash). Len Stellpflug
raised the bar still higher in 1990 with another World Record Squash at
821lbs...5lbs higher than the new world record pumpkin at 816lbs by Gancarz.
Not only that, but his second largest squash also broke the previous years
pumpkin and squash records wieghing in at 807lbs. The 821lb squash record
lasted 4 years and it took two years for anyone to grow a pumpkin bigger than
the 821lb squash.
It is my opinion that this three year New World Record run and his
821lb/807lb year in 1990 (#1 and #2) is more amazing than Joel's storybook
year of 1992...........................G
