RE: I am looking to source better seed

Steve,
Sounds to me like you need to be doing the basics a lot better
and quickly such as proper soil pH of about 6.8, wind protection,
sun protection for the pumpkins, hand pollination at the proper time,
fish emulsion and seaweed fertilizers once per week, critter control
and even some prayer maybe.

From ordinary AG seeds you should be able to break 250 lbs.

I have a small scale seed list I can help you with but nothing so
large as you are asking for. Maybe you should contact the Dills if
you want a generic batch of good AG seeds.

List and fellow growers...please chime in and beat me to death
or help with your advice.

Happy to be starting here in Germany in about three weeks!
Michel

Subject: I am looking to source better seed

I am an Atlantic giant grower from New Zealand.
Our business, a Dairying research institute, has been having AGP
competitions for 4 years. The last 4 years champ weights have been 107,
117, 82 and 112kg.
I would like to increase this weight to some where near the world record.
I am looking to source better seed. I am after 200g (8 ounces) of seeds.
We have 60 growers at work.and over the 4 years I have had 5 other groups
contact me for seeds for their competitions

A most enjoyable past time. Certainly generates alot of bluffing/bragging
around planting and harvesting time. Long may it continue.

Steve
