Hello all
This is my first year trying to grow a big pumpkin. I just did a quick
scan thru the archives and have some questions about fertilizer and
other things. Where can I find a high potassium fertilizer and what
brands of fertilizer does everyone use out there. Im just going to use
some Dills Atlantic giant seed from gurneys what should I expect from
these?. I have plants started in the basement about 10 inches long
already, they are going on the porch today to start hardening off My
soil is pretty good already but im still adding extra peat and some
rotted manure to help it out even more. What does everyone use for weed
control also what does everyone use for bug control? I have a terrible
time with cucumber beetles in the spring and squash bugs in the fall. Is
anyone on this list from Indiana?? Im from Anderson. Any suggestions
for a beginner will be greatly appreciated.
