You can build a wire fence, maybe electric, around your garden, with the
wire going into the ground two feet; you can trap them(they love sunflower
seed) and remove them; you can spray everything with an oil-based red
pepper spray; or you can pray they will leave your pumpkin plants and
fruits alone.
