Re: cucurbita pepo 60# and more

My first year of growing I grew a 122 pound Big Max and won the local fall fair with it. I wish I had saved some seeds from it.

That's what got me hooked on growing AGs.

I have grown Gold rush to 86 lbs and Howden Biggie to 86.5 lbs, both field grown. I plan to actually really try a grow a bigger one this year, by putting a few plants near the house. Not sure if treating them like AGs will grow them heavier, should be fun > anyhow..........Bob

Just wondering if there's anybody out there with seeds from really big
cucurbita pepo (regular pumpkins). I'd love to get some. In fact, I'm
kind of surprised that there aren't more AG growers who are intrigued
with the idea of growing a 100 pound "regular" pumpkin.
